Avidrone dual-rotor for cargo delivery drone

There are many heavy-duty cargo drones on the market, almost all of which integrate 6 to 8 horizontal propellers. But the Avidrone 210TL is different, it uses a dual-rotor design. The 210TL is manufactured by the Canadian start-up company Avidrone Aerospace. It essentially takes the form of two miniature unmanned helicopters, with the tails connected by horizontal booms. It's a bit like the drone version of Boeing's Chinook heavy helicopter.

The user first needs to hang the goods on the rails of the boom – the user can choose a customized connection system to configure according to the unique size and shape of the goods, or choose a standard system to integrate the pre-provided containers of different sizes.

Next, they use a tablet or laptop equipped with Avidrone's own brand G4 autopilot system to program the flight path of the drone. From there, it was almost just a matter of starting the plane. It will continue to fly to its destination and land autonomously, release the cargo by raising the boom rail hook, and then fly back to the take-off point (or wherever it is instructed to go in the next step).

According to the company, the charging time of the 210TL lithium battery pack is 1.3 hours, and the battery life should reach 120 kilometers. This drone can carry up to 25 kilograms and has a top speed of 100 km/h. But why use a dual-rotor design?

The company’s CEO Scott Gray said that although the more common multi-rotor drones are simpler in design, their power and energy efficiency are not as good as the 210TL. According to reports, under a given battery power, it can fly 10 times the distance of a multi-rotor aircraft, or the weight of its cargo is 5 times that of a multi-rotor aircraft.

FDD50 fixed-wing VTOL delivery drone

FlyDragon FDD50P UAV platform is equipped with industrial-grade vertical take-off and landing fixed-wing flight control. Maximum payload 15kg, life time is 2h@15kg payload, 4h@10kg payload, it's have a dropping box for delivery, drop box size: Length 462MM, width 296MM, height 169MM. it's used to delivery medicines, food, water, plasma, etc

The drone platform has the following features and advantages:
a) Practical and efficient: it has the characteristics of fixed-wing UAV’s long flight time, fast speed, long distance and large load;
b) Vertical take-off and landing: with the take-off and landing mode of the rotorless drone, greatly reducing the requirements for landing and landing and airspace;
c) low cost of use: no complicated and bulky launching and recycling equipment, no additional recycling sensors required;
d) Simple operation: integrated special flight control and navigation system, full autonomous flight, operators only need to send flight plans, no professional training and operational experience;
e) Compact system: no complicated auxiliary equipment, simple transportation, deployment, maintenance and withdrawal.
