Air traffic receiver for BVLOS drones

INVOLI has launched G-1090, the company's next-generation air traffic signal receiver, designed to enable drones to fly safely with manned aircraft. The new receiver is weather resistant, can withstand electronic noise, and is CE/FCC approved.

G-1090 can detect ADS-B, Mode S, Mode A/C and FLARM aviation transponder signals, and natively supports INVOLI multi-point positioning to fully understand the air traffic conditions. The receiver can be installed in telecommunications and aviation infrastructure, or it can be installed on a pole with an Ethernet cable to provide Internet connectivity and Power over Ethernet (PoE). The device can also choose to communicate via 4G.

All aircraft detected by G-1090 can be seen on the INVOLI.live UAV visualization and operation platform. Aircraft data can also be directly transferred to third-party software using the INVOLI API. Raphael Zaugg, Chief Technology Officer of INVOLI, commented: “We want to provide a receiver that allows our customers to increase their air traffic awareness in the simplest way, and the quality/cost ratio of such products is unprecedented.”

Manu Lubrano, CEO of INVOLI, said: “BVLOS drones can only be operated when clear images of the surrounding area are available. We also believe that although drones are becoming more and more important in the aviation industry, they are All products and services developed should pass appropriate certification and testing to improve quality."
