Natilus will get a $6 billion cargo drones contract from their major clients

Natilus company founded in 2016 and headquartered in San Diego, recently said it will receive orders for up to 440 cargo drones from major airline and integrator customers Volatus Aerospace, Astral Aviation, Aurora International, Dynomd, etc., in addition to this huge order , the company also said it has secured a $900 million investment from supply chain technology specialist Flexport.


The bird-shaped cargo drone is equipped with two high-bypass turbofan engines, has a 110-ton payload and has a range of 5,400 nautical miles.

Aleksey Matyushev, CEO of Natilus, said: “Today, there are only two ways to transport goods internationally, by air and by sea. The difference in cost and time between these two modes is huge. Sea freight is currently 13 times cheaper than air freight, but delivery is faster. 50 times slower",
