①The battery's production materials and production process are not up to standard


Such as the quality of the electrolyte itself, or the improper liquid level. The positive and negative materials and production process are rough, the electrode coating is not uniform or the shell is deformed. The second is the poor sealing of the assembly, dust or liquid leakage, and so on.

②Battery swelling caused by improper use


Overcharge and over discharge, the battery will generate gas to form pressure during the charge and discharge process, and the capacity of the negative electrode is higher than that of the positive electrode. Therefore, the gas produced by the positive electrode penetrates the separator paper and is combined with the cadmium produced by the negative electrode. Therefore, under normal circumstances, the internal pressure of the battery will not increase significantly, but if the charging current is too large or the charging time is too long, the generated gas is too late to be consumed, which may cause the internal pressure to rise, battery deformation, and liquid leakage. At the same time, the battery life will be affected.


③The influence of temperature on the battery


Temperature has the greatest impact on the charge and discharge performance of the battery. The electrochemical reaction at the electrode/electrolyte interface is related to the ambient temperature, and the electrode/electrolyte interface is regarded as the heart of the battery. If the temperature drops, the reaction rate of the electrodes also drops. Assuming that the battery voltage remains constant and the discharge current decreases, the power output of the battery will also decrease. If the temperature rises, the opposite is true, that is, the battery output power will rise, and the temperature will also affect the transfer speed of the electrolyte. The temperature rise will speed up, the transfer temperature will drop, and the transfer will slow down, and the battery charge and discharge performance will also be affected. The ambient temperature range should be between 5 and 30. Generally, the charging efficiency will increase with the increase of temperature, but when the temperature rises above 45, it will destroy the chemical balance in the battery and cause side reactions. Rechargeable lithium battery materials at high temperatures The performance of the battery will degrade, speed up the risk of battery bulging, and the cycle life of lithium batteries will be greatly shortened.

④Wrong storage method when the battery is not used for a long time


If the battery is not used for a long time, bulging will occur if the battery is not used for a long time, because the air is conductive to a certain extent. Therefore, if the battery is left for too long, it is equivalent to direct contact between the positive and negative electrodes of the battery, causing a chronic short circuit. If the spare battery is not used for a long time, it is recommended not to fully charge it and store it. It is best to keep about 50% of the power. Recharge and discharge it every two months, which will greatly extend the service life of the battery.


We suggest  stop using the battery when it reaches 30%. This can effectively extend the battery usage rate. When stored, the smart battery will have an automatic discharge time period. This period can be set according to individual circumstances.
